Yes, you do need to pre-book at least a few days before you plan to shoot (at least a week before if you plan to shoot midweek) because we need to arrange instructors and book transport to and from the range for you. We ask for a deposit when you book (see the prices page for the event you are interested in for details of the deposit payment), and then you pay the balance in cash in Euros to the Range Manager when you arrive at the range. We can also charge this deposit in Euros or US Dollars for non-UK residents. The deposit forms part of the total payment for the event therefore is not refundable after the event. We are also happy to accept pre-payment for corporate customers, or any groups preferring not to handle large amounts of cash on the day.
We can run our Full Monty shooting event for smaller groups if there are less than 6 people in your group. We can also run the other events for smaller groups but the minimum fee (to cover transport/instructors fees etc) is the price of a group of 6 people. However, if paying the minimum fee for 6 people you would of course will enjoy the same total amount of ammunition as a group of 6.
We don’t mix groups together as most larger groups require exclusivity, so it is not possible to join another group if there are less than 6 of you. If less than 6 people please consider booking our Full Monty shooting event as this is specifically designed for between 1-5 person bookings.
For safety reasons all of our shooting events assume zero knowledge or skills with firearms. Our events are designed to give non-shooting customers a really positive introduction to target shooting. Since 2003 over 10,000 Brits have attended Top Gun Tours events at our various locations in Europe and the USA. The vast majority of these people had never shot a gun in their lives.
All you need to bring is valid photo ID (e.g. passport) and appropriate clothing for the time of year (the range is indoors but it is not heated so don’t forget to bring a fleece or something similar). Eye and ear protection is provided at no additional cost at the range.

Yes, we welcome spectators. You will need to tell us in advance if there are any spectators so that we can send the correct size of vehicle. We do not charge for spectators per se, but if because of spectators we need to send a larger vehicle to collect your group we will need to charge you for the larger vehicle and add this amount to your deposit payment. If the number of spectators does not involve us sending a larger vehicle we will not charge any extra. Rates vary so please call or email us if you want to order a larger vehicle.
Yes, we are happy for you to take your own photos and video. If you send us the best ones and we use them on our Rogues Gallery we will send you a complimentary Bullet Pen. (Please note that photos must not breach any range safety regulations. If in doubt check with your instructor first).
The range can be a bit tricky to find by yourself, so we offer hotel transfers within the price of all our shooting events. Also, if we put the range address on our website we may have potential customers turning up at the range without a booking and being disappointed because they didn’t realize our events are pre-book only.
